Hurricane Hector Brings Much Needed Rain to Cabo San Lucas

Aug 20, 2012

Cabo San Lucas welcomed the much needed rain this week as Hurricane Hector made a brief appearance. Cabo hasn’t had substantial rainfall in over a year, so the vegetation and residents appreciated the change of weather.

Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa in Cabo San Lucas has been awaiting the rain for quite some time. Jed Erickson, resort owner said the rain was much anticipated. “We needed the rain. Everyone was excited that we finally got some precipitation to help green up the landscape a bit,” said Erickson.

The resort suffered no damages from the heavy rain, and minimal clean up was required after Hector came through. Visitors are back on the beach and enjoying the sunshine that Cabo San Lucas is famous for having, and fun is in full swing at the resort.
