ATV Rides on the Beach – Horseback riding and ATV rides are brought to another level in Cabo. Ride through the desert, hills, and riverbed until you reach the beaches. Tours are led by professional guides take you through narrow paths, up the mountains, through the canyon bottom, and in the amazing view of the Sea of Cortez.

Outback and Camel Safari – Climb into off-road unimogs trucks that will bring you into the Baja outback. Guides will take you on a guided tour through the desert, and continue your safari tour by taking camel rides in Rancho San Cristobal. Take in authentic Mexican culture and visit a local ranch, and finish the safari with the scenic ride back through the desert.

Submarine Ride – Interested to learn what goes on under the sea? Try a submarine tour. The tours are typically about an hour long and take off from the Cabo Marina. You will experience the beautiful underwater world that lies below the surface, including up to 50 different types of fish. There are tours during the day, as well as a nightly tour, lit by 24 high powered 250 W halogen bulbs.

Deep Sea Fishing – Any fishing fan will flip for deep sea fishing off the coast of Mexico. There are many different fish for the catching including: black marlin, striped marlin, Dorado, tuna, blue marlin, yellowtail, sierra mackerel, snappers, and roosterfish. The knowledgeable crews at Top Anglers and Bad Medicine will help make it one of the most exciting fishing adventures you’ve ever been on.

Swimming with Dolphins – This one is a must for animal lovers. The dolphin experience begins with instruction from the staff on how to communicate with the dolphins by using hand signals and positive reinforcement. Then jump into the dolphin pool to interact with these marine mammals. Swimming and interacting with the dolphins is an amazing experience that will warm your heart and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Zip Lines – Ok, so we couldn’t cut the list down to five. The sixth choice, zip lines, continues to grow in popularity among adventure seeking travelers. Sailing over the scenery is possible when you zip line high above canyons. Worried about safety? Professionals will go through the safety and usage of the equipment before you start. Climb walls and bridges and rappel and race your family and friends on side by side zip lines. Glide on Cabo’s longest and fastest zip line, 1,640 feet to be exact, that sails over the stunning scenery.

It is clear that you won’t run out of things to do during your stay in Cabo. Now that you know of a few of the opportunities that wait, book your trip and start planning. You vacation filled with new experiences is just a click away.

What to Pack for Your Vacation to Cabo San Lucas

Planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas? There is much to see and do there, and visitors want to be prepared for anything. With that being said, pack accordingly. It may seem like a challenge, but vacationers need to pack smart. Here a few helpful tips to best arrive at your destination prepared to hit the beach and be carefree and relaxed.

Passport: One of the most important things that visitors are going to need to bring with is a passport. Since January 2007, all people, including United States citizens, traveling by plane between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda are required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document. No passport, no travel. Be sure to double-check that all travelers have proper identification to make traveling go as smoothly as possible.

Medicine and Insurance Card: When traveling, it is important to carry insurance information in case that someone needs to visit the hospital for one reason or another. It helps to speed up the process if there is an emergency situation. Be sure to bring medication with as well. Tums, Pepto Bismol, Tylenol, and any other prescription medications travelers may need to have with them. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Sun Protection: It’s obvious that the sun and weather are beautiful in Mexico, but it is also important to remember to protect skin from the damaging rays. Bring sunglasses and a hat for protection. Don’t forget the sunscreen, and be sure to bring the good stuff. SPF 15 isn’t going to help you in Mexico.

Pack for Varied Weather: Remember to pack for anything. Although it is usually shorts and t-shirt kind of weather in Cabo, it can get chilly during the evening. Be sure to bring a pair of pants and a jacket or sweater in case it is cool at night.

Camera: Be sure to pack a camera to capture the beautiful scenery and great memories. Don’t forget that camera charger, extra batteries, film, and/or memory cards. Visitors may regret leaving these at home.

Aloe Gel: The sun in Cabo is much stronger than in most of the United States, so bring some aloe gel on the trip. It will help to soothe sunburn. For travelers that get burned, pair that aloe with a couple of anti-inflammatory/pain reducers like ibuprofen and drink a lot of water.

Small Backpack or Bag: Pack a small backpack or bag. It will be very helpful to carry sunscreen, sunglasses, room keys, bottled water, and anything else that would be convenient to have on a day at the beach.

Tennis Shoes: Some people spend all of their time by the pool at the resort, and that is great! If visitors want to do something a bit more adventurous like hiking, horseback riding or driving an ATV, they will want to have a pair of tennis shoes.

Extra Change of Clothes: Be sure to pack a change of clothes with you when you arrive at the resort. Check in time is not until 4 p.m., and we want to be sure that you can start your vacation right away. Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa offers a hospitality suite for guests to change prior to check in, so pack your swimsuit or beachwear so you will be ready to hit the beach.

If you remember to pack these few things with you, you will be ready for just about anything. Then you can just sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation. Packing is the hard part. Booking the trip is easy. Start planning your getaway to Cabo today.
